初中英语复习之连词与主谓一致总结
1. both...and...既...又...
①当both...and...放在句中，表示一个人的两种身份时，谓语动词依然为单数
Eg: He is both my best friend and my neighbor.
他既是我最好的朋友，又是我的邻居。
②当both...and...放在句首，表示两种事物，谓语动词用复数
Eg: Both Miachel and Kangkang like playing basketball.
2. not only...but（also）...不仅...而且...
①放在句首，谓语动词形式遵循就近原则
Eg: Not only he but also I am good at English.
②放在句中，谓语动词形式由主语决定
Eg: He learns not only English but also Japanese.
3. ...as well as... ...和...，...也是...，（和其类似的用法还有along with, together with）
①放在句首，谓语动词形式由前者单复数决定
Eg: Lisa as well as her parents is talking happily.
②放在句中，表示一个人的两种身份时，谓语动词依然为单数
Eg: He is a scientist as well as a poet.
他是一位科学家，也是一位诗人。
③as well放在句末，表示“也”，一般不用于否定句
Eg: Are they coming as well? 他们也来吗？
4. either...or... 或者...或者...，要么...要么...
①放在句首，谓语动词形式遵循就近原则
Eg: Either you or she is wrong.
②放在句中，谓语动词形式由主语决定
Eg: They are either too young or too old.他们的年龄要么太小，要么太大了。
5. neither...nor...既不....也不.....
①放在句首，谓语动词形式遵循就近原则
Eg: Neither he nor I am a doctor.
我和他都不是医生。
②放在句中，谓语动词形式由主语决定
Eg:She can neither read nor write.
6. as soon as 一....就....
as soon as后面引导的句子为时间状语从句，as soon as 前的为主句，一般遵循“主将从现”,或者“主过将，从般过”。和其用法一样的还有：till/until (直到...），when当...时候
Eg: I’ll tell you everything as soon as you come back.
= I’ll tell you everything when you come back.
Eg: She said she would wait until/ till her mother came back.
7. as long as
①作为连词，意为“只要”
Everything is possible as long as you prepare carefully.只要你细心准备，一切都是有可能的。
②作为比较级中原级用法，意为“和...一样长”
This line is four times as long as that one.这条线是那条的四倍长。
8. so...that.../ such...that...如此...以至于...
①so+adj.+ a/an +n.
Eg:She is so beautiful a girl that he fell in love with her for the first sight.
她是如此美丽的女孩以至于他对她一见钟情。
②such+a/an +adj.+n.
Eg:She is such a beautiful girl that he fell in love with her for the first sight.
9. so that/ in order that为了...
Eg:She worked hard so that/in order that everything would be ready in time.
她努力工作，为的是及时做好各项准备。
10. even if/ even though 即使
Eg:He will come even if/ even though it rains.
即使下雨，他也会来。
11. as if/ as though好像
It looks as if/ as though they are right.看起来他们好像是对的。
12. as
①正如：As you can see, in some ways we look the same.如你所见，在一些方面我们看起来一样。
②作为：As students, we should study hard.作为学生，我们应该努力学习。
③由于：As it was getting dark, we soon turned back.因为天色变暗，我们不久就回去
④按照：They did as I had asked.他们是按照我的要求做的。
⑤当...时，随着：As she grew older, she gained in confidence.随着年龄的增长，她的信心增强了。
13. since
①自从+过去时间点/that引导的一般过去时的从句
②既然：Since it is so hot, let’s go swimming.既然天气这么热，我们去游泳吧
14. althouh/though虽然，尽管如此（后面不与but连用）
Although in poor health, she continued to carry out her duties.
虽然身体不好，但她仍然继续履行她的职责。
15. while
①当...时候，后面常用进行时
Eg:The telephong rang, when I was having dinner.我正吃饭的时候，电话响了。
②然而，表转折或对比
Eg:He is a teacher while I am a doctor.他是一名老师，而我是一名医生
16. yet
①用在完成时中，表示还...
Eg:I hasn’t finished it yet.我还没完成呢。
②然而，表转折
Eg:He worked hard, yet he failed.他努力工作，可是失败了。
17. 以ever结尾的词=no matter...无论...
whenever= no matter when
whatever= no matter what
whichever= no matter which
wherever= no matter where
whoever= no matter who
18. 祈使句+and+将来时（表肯定）
Go at once, and you’ll see her.马上去，那么你就会见到她了。
19. 祈使句+or+将来时（表否定）
Put on your coat, or you’ll catch a cold.穿上外套，否则你会感冒
