今天我们来说一下each other、one another以及both、all 的用法。

一、each other、one another的用法

A：John and May are a couple.They love each other.(约翰和梅是一对夫妻，他们彼此相爱)

上句中的each other是代词，表示两者的”彼此“的意思。在句中只做宾语，句中的主语必须限定为两者。

John and May are a couple.They love each other.

B：John and his three older brothers live together.They love one another.（约翰和他的三个哥哥一起生活，他们彼此相爱）

上句中的 one another.亦为代词，但表示三者或三者以上的彼此，在句中只做宾语，句中的主语必须限定为三者或三者以上的人物。

They love one another.

二、both、all 的用法

一、all 的用法

A：All the boys like ice cream.（这些男孩子都喜欢冰淇淋）

上句中的all是形容词，译成全部的或所有的，修饰三个或三个以上的人或东西。

二、both的用法

B：Both my parents can swim.(我父母都会游泳)

both亦是形容词，译成“二者都”，用于修饰两个的人或东西。

如果说All my parents can swim. (这样的说法是错误的，因为这句话的意思是不止一个爸妈)
