Be动词与其后面的主语在人称和数量上一致.

否定句

There are not any tables in this room. = there are no tables in this room.

Be 动词后面加not, some变any

(not 副词词性，只能修饰动词， no 有名词，形容词，副词词性，not any 强调一个都没有)

疑问句

Yes, there are. / No, there aren’t.

(seminar, meeting, conference, workshop 都有会议之意，一般的会议用meeting, 比如办公室会议group meeting, 但是 workshop, seminar 表示一些小规模的研讨会，学术会议，而conference 比较正式的，国际化的会议等. )
