pay，spend，take与cost的用法区别！

这四个单词是中考英语当中常出现的考点。也是我们同学容易混淆的内容，许多同学不能准确的区分它们的用法。现在我们来做一个简单的区分。 

一、使用pay时是人做主语，可以与for搭配。例如:

I paid ten dollars for the coat.

How much do I have to pay you for it？

She She paid me ten yuan for the T shirt。二、使用spend时也是人做主语。常与介词on搭配。例如，

I spent one hundred yuan on the dictionary. She has to spend a lot of money ondownloading information from the Internet！

spend还表示花时间，常与介词in搭配，in可以省略，后接动名词。例如，

I spend around three hours（in) learning English every day！

How will you spend your holiday? 

三、只用来表示花时间，而且主语必须是it，形成:It takes/took sb.+时间段名词+to do sth.结构。例如，

It takes me twenty minutes to get home from my school.

It took them two months to finish all the work.

四、cost表示某物花某人多少钱。主语是事物，不是人。

The computer cost me more than three thousand yuan.

How much did the watch cost you? 

总得来说，花钱用pay，spend和cost，花时间用spend和take，但要注意主语是人还是物。
